About
Hi, I'm Maya Chen
I'm a frontend developer based in San Francisco. I build interfaces that are fast, accessible, and visually confident — products that work for everyone and feel good to use.
I started writing HTML in 2015 and never stopped. Seven years in, I've shipped design systems, e-commerce platforms, real-time dashboards, and cross-platform apps. I care about the gap between a mockup and a shipped product, and I thrive in that gap.
When I'm not writing code, I'm contributing to open-source accessibility tools, speaking at local meetups, or experimenting with creative coding in p5.js.
